We managed Site Operations for Crew HQ and Campgrounds at Splendour in the Grass from 2021 to 2023. Our responsibilities included coordinating daily crew operations, managing volunteer logistics, and maintaining safe, functional campground spaces for hundreds of workers and volunteers.
In 2022, we navigated the now-infamous ‘Splendour in the Mud’, where extreme weather conditions created major logistical challenges. We managed difficult terrain, limited resources and shifting conditions to prioritise crew welfare and sustain smooth operations. From keeping people dry to maintaining morale, it was a true test of resilience. We delivered consistent support through rain, shine and everything in between.
