DYSS EVENTS EQUIPMENT HIRE AGREEMENT

This Equipment Hire Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Dyss Events ("the Owner") and the Hirer ("the Hirer") on the date of acceptance by the Hirer. By proceeding with any hire, the Hirer agrees to the terms and conditions outlined below.

1. Equipment Ownership
Dyss Events retains full ownership of all equipment provided under this Agreement. The Hirer agrees to return the equipment in its original condition, subject to fair wear and tear.

2. Responsibility for Damage and Loss
The Hirer is responsible for any damage to the equipment, excluding fair wear and tear. Any damage, loss, or theft of equipment while in the Hirer's possession must be reported to Dyss Events immediately. The Hirer is liable for the full cost of repairing or replacing any damaged, lost, or stolen equipment.

3. Weather Protection
Equipment not rated for outdoor use or weather resistance must be kept in a dry, undercover area. The Hirer is responsible for protecting all equipment from the elements during the hire period.

4. Overnight Hires
For overnight hires, the Hirer is required to store equipment in a safe and secure location. When equipment is left unattended outdoors overnight, the Hirer must provide asset protection measures such as security personnel or other suitable arrangements. Failure to organise adequate asset protection may result in additional charges if Dyss Events is required to arrange these measures on the Hirer's behalf. The Hirer assumes full responsibility for the security and weather protection of equipment during the hire period.

5. Theft and Insurance
Dyss Events is not responsible for any theft or loss, whether involving the hired equipment or other associated items. The Hirer is responsible for obtaining their own insurance coverage to mitigate risks of theft or loss.

6. Use of Equipment
The equipment must be used solely for its intended purpose, in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications. Any misuse or unauthorised use may result in additional charges for repairs or replacement.

7. Cleaning Fees
If the equipment is returned excessively dirty or in an unreasonably unclean state, the Hirer will be charged a cleaning fee. The Hirer agrees to return all equipment in the same condition as it was provided.

8. Extended Hire Fees
If the Hirer requires the equipment for a longer period than initially agreed and does not seek prior approval, additional fees will apply for the extended hire period.

9. Return and Collection Charges
If equipment is left onsite and not returned within the agreed timeframe, Dyss Events may arrange for collection. The Hirer will be charged additional fees for collection and return unless prior arrangements have been made.

10. Reporting Damages or Faults
The Hirer must report any damage or malfunction of equipment immediately. Failure to notify Dyss Events promptly may result in the Hirer being held liable for any subsequent issues, even if discovered after the equipment is returned.

11. Miscellaneous Terms

  • This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Dyss Events and the Hirer. No amendments or modifications are valid unless agreed upon in writing and signed by both parties.

  • Any additional terms specific to the hired equipment will be documented in writing prior to the commencement of the hire period.

  • By proceeding with any bookings with Dyss Events, the Hirer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions. The Hirer accepts full responsibility for the hired equipment and agrees to cover any costs incurred during the hire period.

Acknowledgement and Acceptance
By proceeding with any bookings with Dyss Events, the Hirer confirms their understanding and acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement. The Hirer agrees to exercise due care in the use and management of the hired equipment and assumes responsibility for all associated obligations.
